let me give you guys a brief summary of what happened today.

had math and computing module today.
did Visual Basics again.

had a small meeting for Club:G,
to gather cardboard boxes for some chariot event,
since Mr President of Singapore is coming to RP.

Bought a new pair of earphones.
Daddy scolded me because he wanted to buy me a better pair.

awwwww.
how cute. (:

what to do?
i'm a daddy's girl.
daddy loves to spoil me. =P

here's what i really want to share with you guys today.

that is,
what i wrote for today's Reflection Journal. (:

i felt that it was a great way to reflect and that it was the best RJ that i have ever written. ((:

question:

"Life is full of puzzles.
The 4 most important pieces of a puzzle are the corner pieces the anchor the puzzle,
build the border and frame the image.
What stands out as the most important pieces in your life?
What are the corner pieces?"

my response.

"I do agree that in a puzzle,
the most important pieces are the corner pieces at the edges of the puzzle.
The one thing we do know is that,
the edges of the puzzle are the ones
that keep us in check,
to help us get on the right track.
It is strange when even a simple puzzle can tell us so much about our life,
and how much it can represent.
I have always believed that everyone is each a puzzle,
a masterpiece of their own.
The different things and people that they meet in their life,
are each an individual piece of the puzzle that makes up that simple,
breathtaking masterpiece.
No one can say what kind of art is ugly or unappreciated,
as life itself is a masterpiece;
one that people can learn and have fond memories about.
Life has its’ ups and downs.
It is due to our down moments that we can enjoy the up moments.
With life being a masterpiece,
all pieces for the puzzle are required to make up the full picture.
However,
we have certain pieces in that particular puzzle that guides us or
at least gives us a rough idea what where the other pieces would be at.

I would dare say that the important pieces are the spine of picture.
In my life,
the important pieces in my life are God,
my family,
my friends and education.
I would say that those are the most important pieces
as they have made who i am today.
Without them,
i would not be standing here,
or even being the ‘Jean’ that people know.
They shaped who i am today,
in terms of my personality,
character,
heart and mindset.
On top of it all,
they gave me the fondest memories of my life,
and i can depend on them to catch me when i fall;
that they have got my back during the times of my weak moments,
or when i feel that things are hopeless or meaningless.
Education is a unique yet unexpected important piece that i have
only realised today.
I would say education as it gives me common sense and my intelligence;
something that would allow me to make the careful and right decisions in my life;
the sense of an individual.
What separates every single one of us other than
our hearts (character, personality)and looks,
are our minds and the way we think.
We all know that everyone is different and that
everyone would tend to have a different kind of thinking in some way.
This is what gives us our sense individuality,
what makes us ‘ourselves’ compared to other people
(otherwise, everyone would be called Jean).

Out of all the four important pieces,
the most important piece is God.
Some people may say that i am religious because i have said that,
but what i am saying,
really is the truth.
Even if i were to relive my life,
i would still say that God is the most important part of my life.
We hang out with our friends,
live with our family,
and have minds of our own.
But what really makes me say that God is the most important piece?
I would just have to say that it is his love for me and everyone else.
He is my joy and it is because of him that i live.
What can i say?
He was there,
at every step of my life,
guiding me,
cheering me on in my times of discouragement,
carrying me in my times of tiredness.
Like the wings of an eagle,
he lifted me above the storms;
cradled me in his arms to keep me safe from harm.
For what he has done for me, is so amazing.
Not even the things i have said here,
could really express how much he has done for me and how much i love him.
I may not be able to explain why God is the most important piece in my life,
but all i can say is that the mistakes in my life are enough for me to cost my life.
With that,
the only reason why I smile is because of his grace and love upon a sinner’s life,
made my life whole and took away an emptiness that i could never quite comprehend.
Other than making decisions with the mind,
i have an even greater duty to my heart.
Sometimes,
our minds may not go with what we may feel or sense at a certain time,
but it is with that step of faith that we are willing to believe and
are willing to pay with their lives;
because we know that it is the truth.
With that,
i can definitely say that God is the most important piece of my life,
something that i am willing to lay my life down for."
